Welcome to Julie Christine Art- Art with a Sparkle! I was born in 1978 and raised in the Bay Area. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Theater Arts at San Diego State University in 2003. Upon graduating, I returned to the Bay Area and started a business teaching creative arts to young children. I am now focusing on my own unique artistic expression!

My artwork begins with a line drawing by hand. It is scanned into the computer, digitally painted and then individually hand embellished with acrylic gems and glitter. All pieces of artwork are limited editions. Through this medium, I bring a very unique quality to my Artwork. Please note that what you see here has yet to be embellished! I seldom use anything outside of my imagination to inspire my artwork. My pieces are usually inspired from emotions or a state of conciouseness I love to enter.
